With bright blue walls, glass table tops, a Skype-enabled flat screen television and an art deco theme, Attorney Todd Levitt’s new office doesn’t scream “law services.”

However, Levitt’s new satellite office, located at 221 E. Bellows St. aims to give students in trouble a laid-back place to seek free consultations as well as necessary legal representation.

“I would say about 80 percent of my practice is related to Central Michigan (University) student interests,” Levitt said. “In an effort to better service the needs of the students, for the last couple years I’ve been looking for an office as close to campus as possible.”  The decision to open the satellite office was made with student convenience in mind.  Levitt said he found a lot of students that needed representation did not have transportation or money for a cab, and the new office, located right next to SBX Bookstore, is walking distance from anywhere on campus. The satellite office has already received a large amount of traffic and the response has been “amazing,” Levitt said.

The satellite office aims to be a complete legal resource center for students.
